Blizz drop first game, rebound against ML
The Blizz dropped their first game of the season by a score of 3-5 to Milwaukee Pius. Pius powerplay seemed to be the difference in this one as they struck 3 times with the man advantage. The Blizz managed to make it a 4-3 game late in the third period, but couldnt manage to slip one past the Pius goaltender. Pius ended all hopes of a Blizz come back putting in an empty net goal with 1:01 left on the clock.
The Blizz got back on track with a 4-1 victory over Moose Lake on Tuesday night. A very good 1st period helped the Blizz as they scored 3 goals in the first 10 minutes of the contest. Robbie Billings had a nice night with 2 goals and 2 assits. Ben Anderson also had a good outing with an assit and a short handed goal. With the win the Blizz improve to 10-1-1 on the season and travel to Pine City for a rematch with the Dragons on Friday night. Earlier in the season the Blizz beat Pine City 3-2.
